Are you sick of Internet
Explorer? Try these alternative web browsers
for free!!
Chimera
0.6 - still in beta but mighty good, the best of all the
newbies.
Netscape
7.0.1 - good old Netscape, based on Mozilla
this is a far superior browser to IE.
Mozilla
- the browser that breathes life into Netscape
is available on it's own. It can't be run at the same time
as Netscape, and looks about the same, but loads faster.
Safari
- Apple's first browser exclusively for Jaguar
(os X), it's still in it's baby stages, but load times are
incredibly fast, especially vs. IE.
Mozilla and Netscape
are both available for the Windows platform
as well, go to www.mozilla.org
for more info....
It's the holiday season and one thing is for sure, you'll
want to share your photos. There are tons
of services available to help you with just that!
There are tons of digital to print photo
services available. Websites like Ofoto,
Photoworks,
and Yahoo!
Photos allow you to create albums to share and the option
to order photo prints from your digital
images. The prints from your digital camera will
be made using archival quality photographic paper and the
same sophisticated equipment used to make regular film prints. In
fact most of these services use Kodak paper, and some use
Kodak imaging services. So you can actually go directly to
the source and visit the Kodak
Picture Center. Savon
Photo and RiteAid
both use the Kodak
Picture Center. Savon
Photo, RiteAid,
and Wal-mart
are especially useful if you have a location in your neighborhood
becuase you can usually drop off your film and pick up your
photos without paying shipping. And for anyone who isn't ready
to invest in a digital camera or scanner
yet, these services will create digital copies
for you when you submit your film and check the little "Pictures
Online" option. Or you can mail in your film, pictures
or memory cards.
